Jefferson City Office
The Jefferson City office was acquired August 1, 2014 by First State Insurance Agency, Inc.. formally Insurance Services of Mid-Missouri.
Bill Grothoff is the producer of the office. He has over 40 years of insurance service. Bill’s specialty is the confinement farm market in Missouri. He started his career as an agent with Millers Mutual. In 2005, he opened his own agency (Insurance Services of Mid-Missouri). Bill and his wife Barbara managed the office until Brandy Kempker was hired in 2007.
Brandy Kempker continues in her role as Account Manager and has been in the insurance industry since 2001. Brandy began her insurance career in 2001 at John Sundermeyer Agency in 2001. When Mr. Sundermeyer retired, she went to work for his cousin (Bill Grothoff) at Insurance Services of Mid-MO and has never looked back.
The newest addition to the Jefferson City team is Andy Koenigsfeld. He started in the insurance industry in August, 2014. He worked for the City of Jefferson for 10 years as a surveyor prior. Since joining First State Insurance Agency, Inc. he has become an active member of the Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce. He also is a member of the Young Professional Development Committee and the Missouri Pork Association.
